Rebecca says - "Tony is genuinely one of the most positive people I know. He will see a way forward and come at it with oodles of enthusiasm! What he doesn’t know about the motor industry and more recently Electrification and EVs, isn’t worth talking about – he has a huge amount of dealership know-how and experience that gives us the insights into what will work and what to suggest when it comes to client solutions. OSCAR seemed the right way to go for the two of us; we always knew we’d work well together, combining the years of experience we both have in automotive and learning and development. How can I sum him up? He is positive, enthusiastic, eager, takes a risk; is energetic and hugely supportive."
Tony was born and raised in the North East of England. Wife Sarah, 4 kids (one at home, one in London and two in Ghana), 2 Fox Red Labradors, a cat, 3 Hamsters and a large Koi pond ensure that life is always hectic. A lifelong Middlesbrough FC fan and mad keen on NBA Basketball and all Tennis, Tony loves sport. Most weekends during the summer you’ll find him at a music festival of some sort, chilling in the sun or camping in the rain! Oh and don’t get us started on motorhomes and holidays rough camping round France and the rest of Europe!
Tony says - "Rebecca is an incredible member of the team. With 20 odd years in Learning and Development, there is very little she doesn’t know about people – how to coach them, how to develop them, how to understand them, how to inspire them. Add in other skills such as process management, being super organised, multi-tasking, co-ordinating you’re starting to get the picture of just how awesome she is. Finally, include the fact that she’s the most positive person to be around, always happy, always smiling and always looking for perfection and alternative solutions, you’ve got the perfect teammate."
Rebecca lives in Oxfordshire where she enjoys walking her mad Cocker Spaniel dog Wilson, spending time with friends and family, and enjoying a good Artisan gin and tonic! Weekends you can find Rebecca standing on the side-lines at the local Chinnor RFC Rugby club where she is a qualified First Aider and looks after the administration for the team - and watching England RFC play on television! Throw in a Zoom catch up with friends then you’ve got an ideal weekend!
Tony says - "Pete is our 'money man'. I guess we should call him our accountant but Pete is the least likely accountant you're ever likely to meet! The typical image of a dour, one paced accountant of old couldn't be further from the truth with this guy. He is always super enthusiastic, very funny and awesome to be around. With charisma in bucket loads and a smile to match he lights up every room he enters. However, it's fair say that's he is actually good with money. Very good in fact and he runs a tight ship to ensure that OSCAR stays up to speed on everything to do with legislation and money management."
Pete lives in the Midlands with his wife Teresa and 2 boys, all of whom have the same magnetic personality as Pete. An avid rugby fan, he's equally at home in the countryside as he is having a cheeky pint in his local. Their annual trips down to Devon and Cornwall are legendary.
